This Mariah Windspire was installed just outside of the Rockbrook Shopping area in Omaha, Nebraska.  Standing 30 ft tall, the windspire generates 2000 kwh per year.  Working as a vertical axis wind turbine, the Mariah Windspire is completely quiet, not adding to the noise generated from cars on the nearby highway.  The Mariah Windspire was installed by Energy Smart Company.  Its sleek design works to bring clean energy to the nearby LED billboard, although it can also be adapted to provide energy for any setting, whether commercial or residential.  Energy Smart Company installed the Windspire by building a trench 240 ft long to the LED billboard.  Energy Smart Company also poured a seven ft deep cement foundation where they mounted the wind turbine five days later.
